February 22, 2014, Doha ~ The 23rd Qatar International Arabian Horse Show concluded at the outdoor arena of the Qatar Equestrian Club after three days of packed competition. Local Wadee Al Shaqab achieved rock star status and was awarded the Senior Championship stallion under the chants by his local fan club of “Wadee, Wadee”. Badawieh AA from Ajman Stud achieved the Gold as Senior Championship Mare. Final top awards were:

Federation Gold Champion:
104 – Wadee Al Shaqab, owned by Al Shaqab, Qatar
Silver Champion: 187 – Marquis, owned by HRHP Khaled bin Sultan Al Saud, KSA
Bronze Champion: 191 – LVA Maximus, owned by HRHP Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Saud, KSA 
Senior Championship Mares
Gold Champion: 128 – Badawieh AA, owned by Ajman Stud, UAE
Silver Champion: 129 – Jouna Al Naif, owned by Sh. Abdulla bin Khalid Al Thani, Qatar
Bronze Champion: 150 – Eagleridge Passionata, owned by Ajman Stud, UAE
The show concluded with ridden classes on Saturday evening.
