Top Field Sets Out On Course at the USEF North American Endurance Team Challenge

December 13, 2013, Bronson, Florida ~ A communique from the USEF states that over 70 horse and rider combinations lined up Friday, December 13, to race for top honors in the USEF North American Endurance Team Challenge. Competitors from Canada, Mexico, and the United States will vie for Team and Individual medals over the 160km course, with the leaders expected to finish the course just after 6:00pm ET.

Many of the top competitors in North American have traveled to Florida to stake their claim on Team and Individual honors. Two-time world Champion Valerie Kanavy (Fort Valley, Va.) will be racing to add further accolades to her extensive resume on Friday as a part of the USA North East Zone team. Among the Young Riders competing in the open division are four athletes in the top 25 of the Young Riders FEI World Rankings. Christina Kimery (Bixby, Okla.) who stands sixth in rankings will ride for the USA Central Zone.

In the Foreign Division, only Italy will field a full Team. Individuals from Chile, Columbia, Great Britain, Qatar, and Romania will compete for the Foreign Individual awards.
