A field of 15 headed out the gate for the Group 1 Group I 2000M (a10F), Dirt track for the USD 1,000,000 Arabian race, the Kahayla Classic, the second race on the card on Dubai World Cup night at Meydan.

The USA’s entry Paddys Day broke well under Patrick Dobbs and quickly went to the front on the outside from gate 13. In good position for the opening run, but running at 3 and 4 wide, Paddys Day had to give up too much to stay with the leaders and dropped back by the final sprint to the finish.
