Shahm wins Prix Nedjari-Wathba Stallions Cup

Mahabb son scores another success for HH Sheikh Mansoor in France

26 September 2017, Bordeaux, France ~ Shahm, owned by Yas Horse Racing Management, the racing arm of HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, won the Prix Nedjari-Wathba Stallions Cup at the Bordeaux-Le Bouscat in France on Tuesday, 26 September 2017.

The 4-year-old Mahabb son was ridden by Emilien Revolte and scored a smart win over Kontrat De Ghazal under Alexandre Gavilan in the 12-horse field which contested the €15,000 race sponsored by the HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival.

Revolte steered Shahm to a half-a-length win over Revolte Kontrat De Ghazal while the Thomas Fourcy-trained pair of Al Walid under Julien Auge and Jabal Aramoon under Jerome Cabre finished third and fourth respectively.

Shahm, trained by Thomas Demeaultex, recorded his third win in four starts and took 2:15.48 to cover the 1900-metre distance.

Shahm’s effort was also another winning success for HH Sheikh Mansoor’s Wathba Stallions where his sire Mahabb stands.
