After stalking the field, Quick Sand AA gained traction around the turn

9 September 2020, Delaware Park, USA ~ Quick Sand AA (Burning Sand x Triumphs Silkie) under Carol Cedeno gained traction down the stretch to overcome leader Uptown Cruise Director under Angel Suarez to win the Delaware Arabian Classic Handicap Gr 1 on 7 September. Third in was Colors in Motion with jockey Kirsten Swan. The winning time was 2:20:56. The seven-year-old is trained by Jerenesto Torrez, and was bred and is owned by Joseph A and Betty J Gillis. He won this 1 1/4 mile race in 2018 in the slightly faster time of 2:17:59.
