15 July 2022, UK/France ~ The UK’s most valuable Arabian race, QATAR INTERNATIONAL STAKES will close supplementary entries on Monday, 18 July at 12 noon. The £400,000 one mile contest is the opening race on the card on Wednesday 27 July, held as part of the Qatar Goodwood Festival.
Two of the top rated Arabians racing are entered: First Classs (USA) at 128 and Lady Princess (FR) at 127, both with outstanding records. First Classs won the Al Mneefah Cup of 2100m on 1/04/22, and the Kahayla Classic on 26 March, while Lady Princess has picked off five Gr1 races in her career,the last one at La Teste de Buch over 1900m on July 6/7/22. This might be a showing of talent and nerves of top trainers, Alban De Meuille coaching First Classs and Thomas Fourcy with Lady Princess.
There are plenty of other excellent horses in the mix and this should be an exciting race to watch in person or online.
