Next Round of HH Sheikha Fatima Championship for Morocco

Aman Al Boraq wins 2nd race9 April 2015, Casablanca, Morocco ~A competitive field of ten runners has been declared for the next round of the HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival’s HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies World Championship at the Casablanca-Anfa Racecourse on Friday, 10 April.

The event is held under the umbrella of HH Sheikh Mansoor Festival as part of the Grand Prix de SAR Al Tesse Royale Le Prince Heritier Moulay El Hassan to be contested over nine and a half furlongs and carries a total purse of €30,000.

Heading the weights is Fath BS, to be ridden by Omani contender Azhar Al Wardi who’s looking forward to go one better after finishing a good second in the fifth leg in Manama last month.

“I didn’t see the horse and hopefully he will be good enough to make it a winning return to this beautiful venue,” Al Wardi said.

Elsewhere, Morocco’s hope Bouchra Marmoul partners Ksarah and will launch her campaign from stall nine.

“I think the time has come to snatch a long overdue victory for the home team,” she said. “I have finished second twice and hopefully I will be able to delight the spectators and make my nation proud,” she added.

Justine Mercier will ride Yakout Al Boraq for France, Berit Weber is in the saddle for Germany on Mamoun, Holly Curran will ride for Ireland on Wassim Lblad, Korea will be represented by A-Na Lee on Romh L’Atals, and Norway will have Madeleine Haugland on Lazrak. Michala Kucharikova will ride for Slovakia on Labess Maamora, Diana Lopez Leret will be representing Spain on Chadid, and Tais Lyapustina will ride Tisslite Anzemour for the USA.
