25 May 2015, Duindigt, The Netherlands ~ Bachair Qardabiyah stormed to her second successive win in the HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival’s Wathba Stud Farm Cup race series at the Duindigt race course in The Netherlands on Sunday, 24 May.
The four-year-old Dormane filly owned by Waleed Ben Zaied had kick started the 5-race Wathba Stud farm Cup series at Duindigt with a win, then took part in Belgium to finish third to Fareedha in the Wathba Stud Farm Cup race in Ghlin on 11 May.
On Sunday, reunited with German jockey Cecilia Muller, the pair repeated their 9 April opening leg win on the track at Duindigt.
Trained by Damien Watrigant, Bachair Qardabiyah won the 1800-metre contest from Belgian raider Victor under Toon van den Troost. Fareedha under Koen Clijmans, the winner of the 1500-metre race in Ghlin, Belgium could only finish third while Jente Marien finished fourth on Nain in the 10-horse field.
