Lone Star Park Provides Top Weekend Arabian Racing

LONE STAR PARK – November 21, 2020 ~ On the Verge backed by Lucas Berticelli won his maiden race on 21 November during one of the last weekends at the Grand Prairie, Texas, Lone Star Park race track.

In a pack, five crowded to the front vying for control including WMA North Wind, Like Moulin Rouge, RB Rich Rath, On The Verge and WMA Fireball. On the Verge assumed the lead from the outside of three before the turn and was briefly challenged by Like Moulin Rouge and WMA North Wind, but Lucas Berticelli held a determined hand and under his guidance On the Verge took to his heels and was never headed. Volatilis MHF chased them home to third.

On The Verge (Line Dancer x Whos Your Daddy, by The Fast Lane) is trained by Jeremias Castro and was bred and is owned by James and Susan Meyer. The 5 1/2 furlong race was won in the time of 1:15.51. The race had added money by the Arabian Racing Cup Breeders Bonus. Breeders 1. James and Susan Meyer, 2. Ken Danyluk, and 3. Mandolynn Hill Farm, will all receive the added $500 ARC Breeder’s Bonus.
