Djarnizam Maamora, owned by Morocco’s Jalobey Racing (Nizam x Djarnila Lotoise by Djarni Des Forges) and winner of 10 of his 14 home starts, has been nomiated by trainer Jean De Roualle following his resilient third in the Group 1 Jebel Ali Racecourse Zaabeel International Stakes at Newbury last month behind fellow entry Al Mouhanned.
Staged under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Mohamed Bin Faleh Al Thani, Chairman of Qatar Racing & Equestrian Club and promoted in conjunction with the Arabian Racing Organisation (ARO) the UK’s richest single race for pure bred Arabians has now attracted 19 entries including representatives from France and Qatar.
Amanda Smith, ARO Racing Manager commented, “I am delighted that following the supplementary stage we have a strong, international field heading to Doncaster for this important and valuable addition to the International Race Pattern. I’m sure this race will prove a competitive enhancement to the St Leger day at Doncaster.”
Declarations for the race will be made at 11am on Tuesday, 9 September and will be posted on www.aroracing.co.uk shortly after.
