Bronson, Fla. – After dark in northern Florida Friday night Jeremy Reynolds and RR Gold Dust Rising (Falina Des Fabries x Madeline) were first across the finish line of the 160km USEF North American Endurance Team Challenge Race. They finished their ride through the Goethe State Forest in 8hrs 20minutes 22seconds, or 19.39kpm.
The individual race was an FEI CEI3* competition. Nicki Meuten and Not Tonight were 2nd. Young Rider Kelsey Russell was 3nd on My Wild Irish Gold.
The team competition, a friendly competition with teams from around the U.S., Canada, and Mexico was won by Reynolds and Meuten’s Southeast Team B. Along with Cheryl Van Deusen and Deborah Walker, Southeast Team B’s total time of 27hrs 6minutes 48seconds was more than an hour faster than 2nd place Northeast Team C.
