4 August 2018, Deauville, France ~ Eleven young riders will be vying for honors in the HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival’s HH Sheikha Lateefa Bint Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan International Pony championship race to be held at the Deauville race course in France on Sunday, 5 August 2018.

The race is open to riders aged 10 to 14 and the most successful in pony races governed by the FFE in 2018. The race is open to ponies selected by the ANPG (Association Nationale Les Poneys au Galop) that are known for their ease and quality to run a consistent race,” said a French official.

Ms. Lara Sawaya, Executive Director of HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival, Chairperson of the International Federation of Horse Racing Academies (IFHRA) and Chairperson of Ladies & Apprentice Racing Committees in the International Federation of Arabian Horse Racing Authorities (IFAHR) said the series, which was launched earlier in the season, has attracted a lot of response.

The winner of this Deauville leg of the HH Sheikha Lateefa Bint Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan International Pony championship race will join the other winners in the championship final to be held in November in Abu Dhabi,” she added.

We have already staged three legs of this race series and have three winners of the Madrid, Stockholm and Bucharest races.”
