8 January 2015, Qatar Equestrian and Racing Club ~ Hassan Ali Hassan Al Matwi owned and trained Hassiba (Burning Sand x Gefool ASF) was a pillar to post winner of the Local Bred Pure Arabian Conditions race. Taking a good jump, jockey Tadgh O’Shea took Hassiba to the front and called the shots to her six rivals. Once into the home turn, Hassiba sported a pair of wings and sped away to leave the others to fight for minor placings. Hassiba won by five lengths from Waddah and Mutazz.
H.H Sheikh Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al Thani owned Ghizwan (Amer x Margouia) broke through the maiden ranks with a comfortable victory in the Local Bred Pure Arabian Maiden Plate. The Jullian Smart trained Ghizwan was ridden to victory by jockey Richard Mullen. Dheram Al Naif was one length behind in second, while Khafouqi and Batel took the third and fourth places respectively.

Jassim Bin Ali Al Attiya owned Rassan (Amer x Sandytiki) came through a rough passage and with a brilliant burst of speed in the final furlong, overhauled Mouwash and won the Pure Arabian Graduation Plate race, run over 1200 meters. The Jassim Al Ghazali trained Rassan was ridden to victory by jockey Harry Bentley, while Ashkal finished thrid ahead of Desar Al Naif.
It was a muddy track and it was Mudhish trained by Alban de Mieulle that lived up to the calling to win the Al Karana Cup, a Thoroughbred Handicap for horses rated 80 to 100.
Hamad Mohammed Al Khayarin owned Disco Inferno shed the maiden status with a fluent victory in the Thoroughbred Maiden Plate. Trained by Hamad Mohammed Al Khayarin Disco Inferno was ridden to victory by jockey Gerald Avranche.
Sharida Nasser Sharida Saad Al Kaabi owned Bern Be Baby made every post a winning one as he raced away to a start to finish victory in the Thoroughbred Graduation Plate.
Dhafi Al Ardi Al Marri owned Succeed and Excel with Gaetan Faucon up scored a fluent victory in Thoroughbred Handicap for horses rated 50 to 70.
Hamad Bin Abdulrahman Bin Hamad Al Attiya owned Sejalaat was brilliant ridden by Harry Bentley to victory in the Thoroughbred Handicap for horses rated 70 to 90.
