FEI World Championship for Young Horses readies for 28 September

September 26, 2013, Milano, Italy ~ 91 horses from 14 countries will take part in the FEI World Championship for Young Horses (7 year old horses), on 28 September in Verona, Lago de Garda, Italy. For this 120 km CEI4*X FEI 120k,  entry countries will include Italy, the organizers, Middle Eastern states such as Bahrain, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates, the European nations of Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain, Slovakia, and Spain, and the South American country of Argentina.

Schedule

The track will be made in three loops of 40, 22.5, 30, and 22.5 kms. The start of the race is scheduled for Saturday, 28th at 6:30 am, and the first rider is expected to cross the finish line around 15:00pm. The Best Condition award will be given around 16:30pm and the awards ceremony is scheduled to take place at 19:30, followed by a dinner.

Sponsors

One of the main sponsors of the  FEI World Endurance Championships Young Horses 2013 is the HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival. In addition to his great passion for the horse and for endurance the Sheikh is also the owner of the private capital of Abu Dhabi United Group (ADUG), a highly qualified investment company that successfully purchased the Manchester City Football Club. The agreement with the Organizing Committee of Garda Endurance  renders the World Cup Young Horses even more prestigious and memorable. This prestigious event takes place in Italy for the first time, where endurance is much more than a sport, and will focus attention on Italy.
