3 Feb 2014, Doha ~ Continuing its long-standing support for the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club (QREC), ExxonMobil Qatar is the exclusive sponsor of the 2014 Qatar Gold Sword Race, which will take place on February 6, 2014

The press conference, highlighting the announcement of ExxonMobil Qatar’s sponsorship of the mega event, was attended by Mr Sami Jassim Al Boenain, QREC General Manager, and Mr Saud Al-Arifi, Vice President and HR Manager Qatar and Abu Dhabi for ExxonMobil Qatar Inc.

“We are proud of our continued support for the Racing and Equestrian Club, particularly through our long-standing sponsorship of its events,,” said Mr Saud Al-Arifi, Vice President and HR Manager Qatar and Abu Dhabi for ExxonMobil Qatar Inc.  “At ExxonMobil Qatar, we have a commitment to supporting the State of Qatar and its leadership in highlighting historically significant elements of Qatari heritage.  Equestrian competition continues to play an important role in Qatar today, and we are pleased to be a part of this much-awaited and prestigious equestrian event.”
