Bucharest to Host 10th Edition Of World Arabian Racing Forum

30 June 2019, World Arabian Horse Racing Forum, Bucharest, Romania ~ One of the most important events in the packed calendar of the HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival is the annual World Arabian Horse Racing Forum and this year’s edition runs from 2-7 July 2019 in Bucharest, Romania.

After the inaugural three-day conference in Abu Dhabi in 2010, the Forum has been held in The Hague, The Netherlands in 2011, Berlin, Germany in 2012, Toulouse, France in 2013, London, the United Kingdom in 2014, Warsaw, Poland in 2015, Rome, Italy in 2016, Marrakech, Morocco in 2017, Madrid, Spain in 2018 and now to Bucharest, Romania.

Organized as part of the HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival, the World Arabian Horse Racing Forum – Romania 2019 will be held at the Athenee Palace Hilton Bucharest.

“Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE and Minister of Presidential Affairs, this year’s forum will continue where it left and will seek to overcome more hurdles in the path of the progress of Arabian horse racing,” said Ms. Lara Sawaya, Executive Director of the HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival, Chairperson of the International Federation of Horse Racing Academies (IFHRA), Chairperson of Ladies & Apprentice Racing Committees in the International Federation of Arabian Horse Racing Authorities (IFAHR).

HE Dr Ahmed Al Matrouchi, UAE Ambassador to Romania, will inaugurate the Forum and among those attending are Viorel Dabija, Chairman of ARAC Romania, Dr Abdulla Al Raisi, Director General of UAE National Archives, Mr. Faisal Al Rahmani, Chairman of IFAHR, Mr. Mubarak Al Nuaimi, DCT Abu Dhabi, Mr. Edward Hamod, General Manager of National Feed and Flour Production & Marketing Co LLC, Mr. Mohammed Abdulla Al Masaood Automobiles, Mr. Ali Al Mulla, Chairman of Areej Al Ameerat, Mr. Yacoob Al Saadi, President of AD Sports Channels and YAS TV, Mr. Abdelaziz Alhassan, General Sports Authority and Mr. Khaled Al Nabooda, Chairman of Alaweer Farm,” she said.

The Forum will see seven sessions over three days (July 3-5) and will culminate in a final Workshop. On 6 July the Hippodrome Ploiesti will stage flat races under the Festival’s banner as part of the ‘UAE Tolerance Day’ race meeting.
