Hippodrome Wellington at Ostend features Arabian racing

30 July 2018, Ostend, Belgium ~ Aoun ridden by Ro Montenegro squeezed out Dynamites under Jean Baptiste Hamel for a close win in the €30,000 President of the UAE Cup held on 30 July, 2018.

The Group III race was held under threatening skies and then held up to allow a heavy rain to subside, which had a positive effect on the footing.

 

 

Aoun (Mahabb x Shumoos), owned by Yas Horse Racing, continued a promising career by winning the 1600 meter race in a field of nine horses. Al Mounteze Monlau under Elione Chavez came in third.
