California’s Alameda County Fair promotes Wasserman

JeanneIMG_2752November 22, 2013, Pleasanton, California ~ Jerome Hoban, the new CEO at the Alameda County Fair, has recently promoted Jeanne Wasserman to the be the Manager of all racing at the California Alameda County Fairgrounds. For almost 16 years Wasserman has been the Manager of the Off-Track Betting Facility (OTB), which runs all year, as well as the Manager of the Live Race Meet  in the summer. In this regard Wasserman has been pro-active in arranging Arabian racing at the Pleasanton, California, race track, and instrumental in facilitating the races promoted by the HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Flat Racing Festival.

“In addition to the OTB and the Live Race meet, I now manage the stables, the Training Operations and the Race Track Maintenance,” said Wasserman. “I am both excited about this new opportunity and overwhelmed!  I have a lot to learn, but so far I am loving every minute of it.  I have 17 employees added to my roster that I am getting to know and I love the time I am spending in the stable area.”
