Verdict:
It will be interesting to see how the unexposed and classy filly Al Anga fares at this trip; she’s run some fantastic races in defeat this season. El Adjban made Aziz pull out all the stops in this race last year and has performed consistently this season. He gets on really well with his rider and they are likely to go close again. However the horse who has won the last two renewals of this race is the pick to do it again – the one eyed AZIZ. He hasn’t been at his best this season and although you wouldn’t want the price to be too short, he is still the one to beat. [Gary Capewell]
