Djet Taouy (Dahess/Win Taouy) was ridden to the win by Paul Mulrennan. The 4-year-old is trained by D Dorenberg and was bred and is owned by Paul Daverio.

By a neck in second came Muntasar (Majd Al Arab x Danie Du Cassou) fired in by Pier Convertino for trainer Alban De Mieulle and owned by H.H. Sheikh Abudllah Bin Khalifa Al Thani of Qatar. Vivit Al Maury (Akbar x Savavit Al Maury under Francois Xavier Bertra was just over a length behind.

Richard Mullen brought in Djainka Des Forges – then it was Al Anga, Al Mahdod, Tawaazun, Vazs Mane Son, Vulkain D’Albret, Samima, Djent, and Al Atique.

Genny Haynes, Executive Director of the Arabian Horse Organization was happy to have such a prime field of horses: “Yes it went really well and to see those top class horses walk around Newmarket paddock, I was very proud of our sport,” she said.
