TRIFF to be held 6-9 October in Tryon, North Carolina, is looking for more equestrian films
Tryon, NC – Tryon International Film Festival (TRIFF) has announced a cooperative partnership with EQUUS Television Network. TRIFF, now in its ninth year, has been listed on IMDb as a festival and has been gaining recognition from notable directors, producers, screenwriters, and actors.
TRIFF offers a variety of films on an assortment of topics and is looking to expand its selection of equine films. EQTVN is excited to help with this expansion.
EQUUS Television Network (EQTVN) is a Worldwide OTT Television Network that is dedicated to equestrian lifestyle programming. The network is headquartered in Wellington, Florida, and is available subscription free.
If you are a filmmaker or know of a filmmaker who has an equine focused film or a film that includes horses, the Tryon International Film Festival in Tryon NC is encouraging more equine filmmakers to enter their event. They have a large equine community that would welcome seeing more equestrian films in their annual film festival.
The film can have been done at any time in the past two years (2021/2022/2023). Appropriate categories include: Best Short Equestrian Feature and Best Full-Length Equestrian Feature.
Equine Categories Judge will be Bud Force, Director and Co-Producer of the Documentary film, Cowboys, and winner of the 2022 TRIF.

· OPENING DATE: January 1, 2023
· August 1, 2023 is the regular deadline
· August 21, 2023 is the late deadline
· September 1, 2023 is when you would be notified if your film made it into the film festival
