Dreamm Wins ARAC Wathba Stallions Cup at Arapahoe Park

The first race in the three race series of the 2022 Wathba Stallions Cup Stakes went off like clockwork on Sunday, 31 July 2022, at Arapahoe Park, Colorado, for prize money of $15,000.

The field of nine horses broke well for the 5 furlong race where the four-year-old filly Dream headed out in second position, swept easily around the curve in first and battled WMA Smoke Signal for the finish line in the time of 105.78.

Winner: Dreamm (No Risk Al Maury x Dream Pearl by Burning Sand) ridden by Adrian Ramos, trained by Terri Eaton and owned by Terri Eaton and Cory Soltau.
2. WMA Smoke Signal (Kasih), ridden by David Martin, trained by Terri Eaton, owned by Michael Gomez (City Slickers).
3. Kazzu (Kaolino), ridden by Jose Lopez, trained by Ken Danyluk, owned by Matthew and Tami Dotter.

Winning owner Cory Soltau said, “Dreamm ran well and her competitive finish with stable-mate WMA Smoke Signal was great. This Wathba Stallions Cup race was well represented at Arapahoe and we look forward to coming back here for the next Wathba Stallions Cup race on 21 August.”
