17 June 2019, Ghlin, Belgium ~ The Emirates Breeders Program IV, a 1500m race, was run at Ghlin, Belgium, on 16 June 2019, and was handily won by Conchita D.A.
A conflicting race in the Netherlands detained several of the original entries which turned this race into all Belgium runners and helped to foster the competitive nature of the Breeders Incentive Prize offered by sponsor Emirates Breeders.
The track was deep and slow, but Conchita D.A. under jockey Anna Van den Troost did not seem to find this a hindrance and continued throughout to widen her lead as if on a daily romp. The mare was bred by Johan Verstrepen who received the Breeders Incentive, and is owned and trained by Belgian Peter Deckers.
Number two in Viho D.A. brought a double for Deckers. Pyta D.A. came in third.
