25 November 2018, Doha, Qatar ~ Khalifa Bin Sheail Al Kuwari’s SPAGHETTI (Snoopi x Nouillaugratin) was in smashing form as the 2016 HH The Amir’s Silver Sword winner blitzed to victory under Harry Bentley in the Al Daayen Cup, the Purebred Arabian Conditions race, on Thursday, 22 November 2018 at the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club. The win, second on the day for both Jassim Mohammed Ghazali Jahromi and Bentley, saw the 6-y-o race to an almost seven-length victory over Al Shaqab Racing’s AL Walid (Dahess x Al Sarwa), helmed by Faleh Bughanaim for Alban Elie Marie de Mieulle, while another Ghazali ward, Messine De Sinuhe (Njewman x Amidou Douzaia), completed the top three under JP Guillambert.
Jassim Bin Ali Al Attiyah’s Rassan (Amer x Sandytiki) went one better than his last outing to notch his 15th career win as Jassim Mohammed Ghazali Jahromi and Harry Bentley completed a hat-trick of victories on the day. The 8-y-o won the Doha Cup, a Local Purebred Arabian Conditions race on dirt, the final race of the card with three lengths to spare. Saleem Golam helmed Hassan Ali Hassan Al Matwi’s Raqee(Mared Al Sahra x Cath) to second place, while the Ibrahim Saeed Ibrahim Al Malki-trained AL Muntathar (AF AlBahar x Intifadah) was third under Eduardo Pedroza. 
HE Rashid Meshlesh Al Hajri, Director of Al Daayen Municipality, crowned the winners of the two feature races in presence of Abdulla Rashid Al Kubaisi, QREC Racing Manager.
Khalifa Bin Sheail Al Kuwari’s Yanar (Amer x Mansourah) had shown promise in her first two runs this season, including a C&D fourth place last time round. On Thursday, in the 1700m Purebred Arabian Maiden Plate (Fillies & Mares), JP Guillambert helmed Mohammed Riyaz Ibrahim Kasim’s ward to a smashing 17-length victory for the 5-y-o’s maiden win.
Three and a half years after last winning a race, Khalid Nasser Hamad Al Naimi’s Saab (AF Albahar x Fille Des Sables) registered his second career win in the Local Purebred Arabian Novice Plate. Gerald Avranche helmed the 7-y-o in the six furlong sprint as the horse won comfortably with three and a half lengths in hand.
