Top 4-year-olds contend the Arabian Derby Group 1 at Chantilly 17 June 2018

19 June 2018, Chantilly Racecourse, Chantilly, France ~ Christophe Soumillon guided Rodess Du Loup to his first Group 1PA victory in the Qatar Derby for four-year-olds at Chantilly Race Course in France on 17 June 2018.
Second in and trying to close on the line was Rijm under Julian Auge. Hajres finished third ridden by Jean Bernard Eyquem. Win time for the 2,000 metre race was 2:10:78.
Rodess du Loup (Dahess x Aurore du Loup by Darike), was bred by Jean-Paul Larrieu at Haras Saint Faust, and born at the Jean-Marc Saphore Stud Farm. He is owned by Mr Khalifa Hamad Al Attiyah and trained by Charles Gourdain. This is his third career win and first win in 2018 and first over 2,000 metres.
