ARC breeders money to be paid out at Santa RosaOn 19 August 2017, breeders of Arabian racehorses will have another chance to pick up cash prizes- this time at Sonoma County Fair, Santa Rosa racetrack in California. The breeder of the first place horse, 2nd place, and 3rd place will each pocket $500 as a reward for breeding the most successful finishers. Delaware Park ran the 1st ARC Breeders Bonus Race on 3 July 2017. Mystical MHF (MADJANI (FR) – MORNING LYGHT, by MONARCH AH ), won the Maiden Special Weight in a field of 8 horses. He won by 10 1/2 lengths and covered the 6 furlongs in 1:19.60. The race paid a $10,000 purse plus $1,700 starter bonus from the track… plus the ARC Breeder Bonuses!
1st place ARC bonus of $500 went to Mandolynn Hill Farm the breeder of Mystical MHF; 2nd place ARC bonus of $500 went to High Shine’s breeder Debra Lemmons; 3rd place ARC bonus of $500 went to RB Sand Castle’s breeder Dianne Waldron.
RB Sand Pearl, Royally Bred, and Pacific Winds bring home Breeder Bonuses for Dianne Waldron, Deborah Mihaloff and Alan Kirshner
Delaware Park ran the 2nd ARC Breeders Bonus on 16 August 2017. The Bonus was mentioned in the program by John Curran the announcer, and a banner was held for the picture by John Mooney. The condition was a Maiden Special Weight for Fillies and Mares. The winner was RB Sand Pearl bred and owned by Dianne K Waldron. The 2nd place horse Royally Bred and the 3rd place horse Pacific Winds were both bred by Alan Kirshner and or Deborah Mihaloff. Royally Bred is raced under Cre Run Enterprises LLC and Pacific Winds runs in a leased partnership named Goldensands Racing LLC.
