30 June 2015, France ~
Jean-Pierre de Gasté, Izeta Selimanjin and all of the ITC team are pleased to announce that as of 1st of June, Alexandra Saint Martin joined the team in her role as bloodstock consultant.
A Political Science graduate from Toulouse who also has a Master 2 degree in Marketing, Management and Communication, Alexandra, who was born into a breeding family, has been passionate about horses and racing since she was a child. She spent the last seven years learning the trade within the very dynamic sales agency ARQANA, which she joined during her final year at University. Her knowledge about racing and its players, as well as the French and international market is hence rock solid. In charge of the ARQANA communication department for the last three years, Alexandra has also had the opportunity to gain experience on the ground by participating in the yearling inspections during the Deauville sales. In 2011, she also spent six months with Goffs in Ireland, where she roamed the country together with the commercial team inspecting yearlings and foals.
Jean-Pierre de Gasté commented: “Alexandra’s arrival allows us to strengthen our team at a time when we are expanding our activities, in France as well as abroad and notably in the Middle East and the United States. Other than an in-depth involvement within the bloodstock and consulting business of ITC, she will also be involved in the commercial development of thoroughbreds at the Haras de Gouffern and the Haras de la Genevraye. This 450 hectare property, which has been in our family since 1452, had been very much at the forefront of thoroughbred breeding right through the 1980s and will in the next few months undergo a complete makeover in order to bring it back to the heights it enjoyed in the past.”
Izeta Selimanjin, ITC director and associate, added: “I am delighted that Alexandra will be part of our team. We have known each other since she started with ARQANA. Her knowledge will be an invaluable addition to our bloodstock activities, especially on an international level, thanks to extensive research of thoroughbred horses in training. We will also work together regarding online and offline communication of the ITC and the studs, the development of our client basis and different projects that we are currently in the process of establishing via partnerships and sponsoring.”
