Verdict by Gary Capewell:

At the time of writing there is some uncertainty as to how much rain will fall ahead of this race, which will have a major say on the outcome. Kamikzae carries a 6 pound penalty for his Hereford victory on Sunday but the trip could be an issue.  Karar and Zayin Zachilles are confirmed stayers, of those two Karar appeals most. Jumeira Palm has a strong chance if the rain stays away, her stable companion Maazin steps up in trip which may suit, likewise Aurora Forta who was a close second on her handicap debut a few weeks ago. However despite the lack of a recent run AZIZI is the selection. He relished the extra distance at Newbury when last seen and is versatile enough to act on most going.
