Taylors Touchof Class gets classy start to her season
2 June 2015, Delaware Park, Delaware, USA ~ On opening day 23 May 2014, Darley Award winning 4-Year-Old Filly Our Princess conquered in a field of seven at Delaware Park Racetrack in Delaware. Our Princess (Nivour De Cardonne x Monarchs Princess) backed by Kirsten Swan started from box six to take the early lead and won going away in a time of 1.18:40. The bay swallowed the 6 furlongs easily leaving Quick and Rich chasing to land in second with Lazer Hess finishing third. Thess Is Awesome came in fourth. The purse was $18,250.
Trained by Lynn Ashby, the winner was bred by Alan Kirshner/Deborah Mihaloff, and is owned by Cre Run Enterprises LLC.
30 May Delaware Park Arabian racing
The second Arabian race to fill was run on 30 May for Maiden Special Weight.
The 6 furlong race was won by Taylors Touchof Class (Dahess x Toppofthe Class by Genuine Monarch) The four-year-old 2013 Darley Nominee won in the time of 1.20:2 placing RB Madjyk Man second and Charich, the other filly in the race, took third.
As in the first race at Delaware, the 2013 Darley Award winning combination of jockey Kirsten Swan and trainer Lynn Ashby was impossible to beat. Taylors Touchof Class was bred by Alan Kirshner/Deborah Mihaloff and is owned by Philip Klaus.
