2020 California Arabian Racing Schedule – To Be Fully Confirmed

California Arabian Racing Has a Tentative Schedule for the June Start

18 May 2020, California ~ The tentative dates for California Arabian Racing have been confirmed by the California Authority of Racing Fairs (CARF) and must be fully approved by the California Horse Racing Board (CHRB). This final decision will be announced at the upcoming CHRB meeting later this month (May). The following is a schedule of races based on this information.

The Pleasanton race track will open on 1 June
Racing at Pleasanton will begin on 26 June and continue through 26 July
 – Followed by one week off
Racing will resume from 7 – 16 August
Locations to be determined at the upcoming CHRB meeting

Three possibilities include:
Sonoma County Fair at Santa Rosa
Sonoma County Fair at Golden Gate Fields
Sonoma County Fair at Pleasanton
Followed by Humbolt County Fair – Ferndale
Followed by Fresno

Plans for a meet at Grants Pass, Oregon, after the Fresno meet are still in the working stage.

Dates have been subject to State Regulations and Requirements for safety due to the Global COVID-19 Pandemic, and all safety precautions and protocols will be in place.
